Application
of computer network has been widely applied in various aspects. Among them is
at the office, at school lab, in the cafe (warnet), etc. And
here we will try to explain some of the needs to cause in making the network on an existing computer lab in school.
Network scheme that will be created
In this configuration, the computer
that we connect only 20 units, but in our scheme explains that computer unit 20
on the red line that we provide a place to position 20 computers which will
further connect or we attach our network.
Some of the
needs that need to create a network computer labs, which are:
1. PC Server and Client PC

How to create Network Cable
1.
Cut the Cable Protector (outer skin) with a length
corresponding to the Pin (holes) RJ-45 using Crimping Tool.
2.
Then straighten the color cable consisting of Blue, Blue
White, Orange, Orange White, Green, Green White, Brown, Brown White.
3. Sort color by setting Sright
methods are:
White Orange – Orange
White Green – Blue
White Blue – Green
White Brown – Brown
White Orange – Orange
White Green – Blue
White Blue – Green
White Brown – Brown

Then the color of the cable that has been straightened out
and set the color inserted into each pin (holes) RJ-45 consisting of 8 holes.

Steps to make Network
After making the cable network his next step is to set the IP Address, Computer Name, and Workgroup.

Provide UTP cables that have been made earlier, with a gauge
length according to the distance or the position where the PC in placer.

Connect the UTP cable from each PC to the hub or switch so
that any computer can be connected.

Set up or setting the Network Connections control panel by
means of:
a. Click on the control panel
and select Network and Internet
b. Select the network and Sharring center
c. Then change adapter settings
d. Right-click on the local
area connection properties
e. Select the internet protocol
version 4 (TCP / IP v4)

Click Properties
g. Select use the following
IP Address
h. Enter the IP Address:
192.168.0.1 for PC 1 with subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 did on each computer with

Change the Computer name, and create a workgroup on a PC by
means of:
a. Right click on My Computer
and select Properties
b. Click change settings
c. Then on the tab "Computer
Name" click on "change"
d. Enter the computer name
for each computer's identity eg "PC-1" for the PC 1, "PC2"
To PC 2, and others.
e. Then the members of select
"workgroup", fill in any such "TKJ10"
f.
Click OK, then the computer will automatically restart.
g.
Do so
on each computer with the terms "Computer Name" must be different.
Likewise in the IP Address that is given to each computer, to distinguish it,
enter the last digit 1 in accordance with the order of the PC, eg at PC11 its
IP Address: 192.168.0.11, and others.
If each computer is able to connect with other computers, it was her sign a network that we created in a lab has been completed. So that every PC can share information, exchange data or sharring data, and even can be used to sharring printer if any.
